Privacy Statement, Disclaimer, Competition Terms and Conditions

Summary: Sarah Richardson provides various ways for you to add your personal information to her database. By clicking on “Submit” “Sign-up” “Buy now” “Submit” and or any other button (or functionality) that has a similar meaning you are providing your explicit consent to be added to Sarah's communication system. By entering enquiry information into the contact form you must be aware that anything you send is sent to Sarah via her secure email system. You will not be added to any email listing without an opt-in form which you can manually select. Sarah outlines below the methods of communicating with you based on the information you provide. You may opt-out of emails from Sarah at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button included on all currently available means of communication that Sarah Richardson has described below it may use to communicate with you.

Sacred with Sarah Danu (the “COMPANY”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website, www.sarahrichardson.ie and the services and or goods provided there (the “SITE”). Sarah Richardson provides this privacy statement to explain what information is gathered during a visit to the SITE and how such information may be used.

 

USE OF INFORMATION

As a general policy, no personally identifiable information (“PERSONAL DATA”), such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the SITE. ANY PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE SITE MUST BE VOLUNTARILY ENTERED BY THE SUBSCRIBER. “Special Data” is data that is sent voluntarily by the subscriber via use of contact form to Sarah and is treated as confidential.

Non-personal data is recorded by the standard operation of Sarah Richardson internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your IP address is gathered in order to enhance your online experience.

PERSONAL DATA is information that specifically identifies you (name, email address, ship to/bill to address, phone number) and can be used to specifically locate you from within Sarah Richardson’s database and or filing system. The SITE’S various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, and surveys may request that you give Sarah Richardson contact information such as your Name, Email, Phone number, Address.

SENSITIVE DATA is information that you supply voluntarily to Sarah when applying to meet with her for a session through the use of the contact form on www.sarahrichardson.ie. When you book an appointment using Sarah's calendar system, your contact and form information goes to Acuity Scheduling who are GDPR compliant. Anything that is sent to Sarah via contact form or placed in the intake form is DEEMED CONFIDENTIAL and not shared with any third party or data controller. Any queries you may send to Sarah's main email address are also deemed confidential and are not shared with any third party.

Information submitted in general contact forms or via email query will be used by Sarah Richardson to:

  • Email SUBSCRIBER the requested information from Sarah Richardson
  • Email SUBSCRIBER a link to opt-into Sarah's monthly newsletter
  • Provide SUBSCRIBER access to the requested content from Sarah Richardson

PERSONAL DATA submitted voluntarily by the SUBSCRIBER via email or general contact form is managed by the following companies: Mailchimp, who have made statements to say they are GDPR compliant.

Should the SUBSCRIBER request to be unsubscribed from any email listing they can click on the unsubscribe button supplied with any email correspondence from Sarah and they will automatically be unsubscribed.

 

LEGAL BASIS FOR USE OF INFORMATION

Sarah Richardson is legally processing SUBSCRIBER’S SENSITIVE and PERSONAL DATA based on the following:

  • The SUBSCRIBER has given his or her explicit and voluntary consent to Sarah Richardson
  • The SUBSCRIBER has a contract with Sarah Richardson that necessitates Sarah Richardson having his or her PERSONAL or SENSITIVE DATA;
  • Sarah Richardson has a legal obligation that requires processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL and SENSITIVE DATA;
  • There is a vital interest that necessitates Sarah Richardson processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA

Some sessions are recorded, but you will not be shared with anyone, any personal recordings will be cut out, or if consent is given and the desire is there to have it left in from the participant it is with informed consent. Everything that takes place in a mentoring session, training or retreat is confidential based on the ethics and guidelines of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists). 



CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

Sarah Richardson does not store any credit card information it may receive in regard to a specific transaction and/or billing arrangement except as necessary to complete and satisfy its rights and obligations with regard to such transaction, billing arrangement, and/or as otherwise authorised by a user. All online credit card information is handled by Stripe and PayPal. 

 

USE TO THIRD PARTIES

PERSONAL DATA and SENSITIVE DATA is never sold, leased, or shared with any third parties. A third party is a COMPANY outside of the SUBSCRIBER – COMPANY- DATA CONTROLLER relationship where DATA CONTROLLERS are services used by the COMPANY to carry out certain tasks. The current list of DATA CONTROLLERS is: Kajabi, Acuity Scheduling, Zoom, Skype, Stripe, PayPal.

 

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

Sarah Richardson may disclose SUBSCRIBER information in special cases when required by legal and or law enforcement and only when required by law. If Sarah Richardson has reasonable reason(s) to believe that disclosing PERSONAL DATA held by Sarah Richardson is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with Sarah Richardson rights or property, other users of the SITE, and or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities, then Sarah Richardson will work with the appropriate and legitimate law enforcement and or legal authorities to make sure that the PERSONAL DATA is handled in accordance with the applicable laws.

 

ZOOM SESSIONS

Sessions with Sarah Richardson are confidential. If they are recorded, they will be done with consent using a tick box form through zoom. If consent the zoom will begin recording. This is only recording to be sent to the participant. If this group class is ever used publicly, it will have all other members edited out. This is only for teaching sessions. Sarah Richardson will never record and make public a personal session.

The only information that will be kept by the system is the time, date, duration and contact information which is required in order to create the appointment. Sometimes there may be a need to send information over the chat box, via email or via text message with lists of tasks/homework and tailor made meditations or guidelines, all of this is deleted after the sessions have ended. Email information stays with the email server until such a time as emails are deleted. All emails and website form responses are on a secure server and any information that you send in an email about your session with Sarah is totally confidential, only seen by her and her alone, and totally voluntary on your behalf. 

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION IS NEVER SHARED WITH ANYONE.

 

PROFILING PERSONAL DATA

Profiling means any form of automated processing of PERSONAL DATA consisting of the use of PERSONAL DATA to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a SUBSCRIBER, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that SUBSCRIBER’S performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements; Sarah Richardson DOES NOT ENGAGE IN ANY SORT OF PROFILING OF ITS SUBSCRIBERS BASED ON PERSONAL DATA.

 

EMAIL CONVERSATIONS

Email conversations are deemed confidential and never shared with anyone. All information you supply to Sarah is over secure email. All information you share with Sarah is voluntary and all correspondence will be deleted from her system after 2 years. Sarah cannot be held responsible for the integrity of email travel over the internet however she is currently researching alternatives which may be more secure. In order to provide exceptional customer service, Sarah's PA - will have access to your email address/ phone number only in order to secure bookings and to answer additional questions that you may have.

SUBSCRIBERS RIGHTS

As a subscriber and or user of the SITE, you have the following rights:

  • Transparent information from Sarah Richardson regarding how they communicate and interact with the SUBSCRIBER;
  • The right to hear back from Sarah Richardson regarding any inquiry into SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA;
  • To request correction of PERSONAL DATA from Sarah Richardson;
  • Access to SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA including knowing the purposes that the data is used for;
  • To request erasure from Sarah Richardson records provided that there are not overriding legal, public interest, or legitimate interests;
  • To a restriction on the processing of the PERSONAL DATA;
  • Data portability of PERSONAL DATA (having a record provided to you that is readable and commonly used that outlines the PERSONAL DATA Sarah Richardson has on you)
  • To object to processing of PERSONAL DATA – Sarah Richardson shall no longer process the SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA unless Sarah Richardson demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the SUBSCRIBER or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • To file a complaint with the supervisory authority;
  • The right to unsubscribe at any time (withdraw consent)

 

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 16

Sarah Richardson recognises the special obligation to protect PERSONAL DATA obtained from children age 16 and under. IF YOU ARE 16 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, Sarah Richardson REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO Sarah Richardson. If Sarah Richardson discovers that a child age 16 or younger has signed up on the SITE and or provided Sarah Richardson with PERSONAL DATA, Sarah Richardson will delete that child’s PERSONAL DATA from her records straight away. Adult supervision is required at all times. 

 

USE OF COOKIES

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual’s computer hard drive for record keeping purposes. Cookies make using Sarah Richardson SITE easier by saving your passwords and preferences for you.

As a result, while Sarah Richardson strives to protect SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA, Sarah Richardson cannot ensure or warrant the security of any PERSONAL DATA the SUBSCRIBER transmits via the internet. By transmitting any such information to Sarah Richardson, SUBSCRIBER accepts that he or she does so at their own risk.

 

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using the SITE, the SUBSCRIBER accepts the policies and restrictions set forth in this Online Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the SITE. This Online Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time by updating this posting. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current Online Privacy Policy to which you are bound.

 

PayPal AND STRIPE DATA PROTECTION

RETURNS POLICY

There are no returns available for digital downloadable items purchased in the Sarah Richardson shop.

Online Courses: It is possible to get a refund on any online course run by Sarah providing the refund has been requested 14 days prior to the start date of the course. Once courses have started, no refunds are available.

Where items purchased on Sarah Richardson's shop are NOT downloadable items (Retreat/Mentorship/Training), returns and refunds are available on an item by item basis, depending on the circumstances. 

We can’t take same-day bookings and missed appointments or cancellations of less than 48hrs cannot be refunded.

If you have purchased WOMAN - book, Thank you. We hope the energy brings you guidance and support. Here we believe in the energy vibration of ‘paying it forward’, so we do not offer refunds. What this means is, perhaps you would like to pass them onto a loved one who may need the healing.

 

DISCLAIMER

Sarah Richardson maintains this website to enhance public access to information about her activities. Her goal is to keep this information timely and accurate. The information accessible on this website is derived from a variety of sources and includes statements of opinion. Despite her best efforts, there may be inaccuracies or points upon which other practitioners may disagree.

Sarah is a Spiritual Healer, but she is also a Registered Midwife with medical training. Sarah has a very holistic approach to her work, but does believe in a holistic team. If you have serious illness/ injury, you must visit your medical doctor and take action where required. For example: if you fall and break a bone, you will need to go to the hospital. A healing session can reduce pain and speed up the healing process but medical action may be required.  This is your own responsibility. If you are experiencing psychological distress, trauma or mental health conditions, Sarah’s work is absolutely not appropriate in a crisis situation.

It is your responsibility to know this information, and take it upon yourself to tune in to your needs especially when it comes to your mental health.

The work Sarah offers is particularly deep, and can bring up a lot of previous traumas, grief, abuse, fear etc. It is important to feel grounded, secure, stable and safe before coming to any event. It is important to have psychological support around you in terms of family, friends, therapists.

Please do not come to any event, retreat, training, class, workshop or mentoring session if you are experiencing a mental health crisis or if you are traumatised, please seek professional and psychological therapy, or medical attention if needed.

Sarah is not responsible for any mental health conditions suffered in or after any of her events, as she informs everyone of the depth of the healing work and asks everyone to take personal responsibility.

Sarah will also send google forms previous to training, events and retreats as well as check in forms after. This is her way of supporting with integration.

Everyone will be asked previously about medical history, and a judgement will be made based on answers provided. No responsibility can be taken from answers not given.

With follow up questionnaire Sarah will ask if the participant needs further support and will offer further support.

Sarah is highly trained - both medically and holistically, she can work within her scope of practice but she will pass on to another professional if she feels it necessary.

Therefore Sarah Richardson and her website www.sarahrichardson.ie  is not a substitute for the advice provided by a medical professional. Always consult a doctor or other qualified health professional if you have personal concerns. HEALING IS NOT SUFFICIENT IN TIMES OF PHYSICAL EMERGENCY.

Intuitive Guidance is always shared in highest regard for your wellbeing. Sarah only shares insight with the use of tools and techniques from the modalities that she has studied in throughout the years. Sarah does not diagnose or offer medical prescriptions of any kind. All of Sarah’s services are based on Alternative therapies and holistic wellbeing.

TREATMENT BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

 

BOOKING AN EVENT/PROGRAMME

When desiring to booking an event or programme with Sarah whether one-to-one, in person or online, please see the relevant links on her website. A lot of these events are automated. However, some require a discovery call.

If Sarah feels the event or programme is not appropriate due to previously mentioned reasons, or that it may not be suitable for the level you are at, she will explain this in a compassionate way, and will do her best to offer something that is. If she doesn't have an offering for you she will recommend someone that does.

Due to a high demand on Sarah’s events, you might have to wait for a booking and that might not suit your needs. 

If you are experiencing a session online, you must prepay in advance by following the appropriate links on the website www.sarahrichardson.ie. Your booking will only be secure once you have paid in advance. When booking, please prepay straight away as Sarah cannot hold your booking.

Late arrivals will result in a shortened session time therefore please arrive 15 minutes previous if in person, to get settled, or if online have yourself set up with zoom in an area you won’t be disturned about 15 minutes beforehand. Please try to log in before your session so you know how to navigate the app. Make sure your Wifi is working and you have access to the zoom link.

Sarah cannot answer peoples queries about login details on the day of a session, so it is your responsibility to navigate it all when you book so you know how to work it and can successfully log in.

If you cannot log in due to technical difficulties, or lack of login, there are no refunds available as it is your responsibility on booking to make sure you have it.

Depending on your needs, Sarah will advise the best experience to suit you. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY ON SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS, RETREATS AND COURSES

 

ONLINE MENTORING SESSIONS

Sacred Rebirth Mentorship Programme.

Mentoring sessions are pre organised, and prepaid. This is a monthly subscription with a consent form and contract signed previously.

We can’t take same-day bookings and missed appointments or cancellations of cannot be refunded or rescheduled. You will need to make a new appointment

If you need to reschedule your mentoring session please give 72hours notice.

Sarah does not offer one to one , once off appointments.

These are 3, 6 , 9 or 12 month contracts.

 

The participant must acknowledge that they are there to inspire their own personal growth and transformation. They alone are responsible for their well-being and perception of their life. The participant must take full responsibility for their individual experience and outcome associated with the Sacred Rebirth Mentorship Programme.

Under no circumstances will Sarah Richardson be held responsible for the participants actions or circumstances. Heirs, guardians, legal representatives of/and Sarah Richardson hereby and forever release, waive, and discharge any claims against Sarah Richardson, and any of their associates, affiliates, or family. 

The participant must acknowledge that this programmes's intention is to provide a sacred space of trust and privacy for those involved. Both parties agree to honour the sanctity of confidentiality while immersed in the Sacred Rebirth Programme. The participant must agree to maintain said confidentiality for the duration of my human existence. 

Once the consent form is signed you are legally binded to continue payment subscription of the agreed amount per month until the container is closed.

Even if you do not wish to continue with the programme, you are obliged to pay in full.

The participant must acknowledge that the Sacred Rebirth Programme does not allow for cancellations, rescheduling less than 72 hours of appointments or refunds of any kind. 

The participant must recognise and respect the space and time of both parties which they have committed to. 

An agreement is made and they have signed digitally the contract having disclosed that they have carefully and thoroughly read and understand this agreement. 

They are aware that by ticking the agreement box, they are agreeing to and are legally bound to the aforementioned statements. 

Thye accept these terms with gratitude for their individual free will choice. 

 

WORKSHOPS ONLINE AND IN-PERSON AND DAY RETREATS:

  • Every attendee must have a valid ticket.
  • Once purchased, tickets & Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or refunded. They cannot be transferred to a future date.
  • If you can no longer attend then you can gift your ticket to a third party and inform Sarah’s team of this exchange by emailing [email protected] in advance.
  • Payment of balance must be paid 2 weeks in advance of your experience. If your balance is not paid by this due date, your space will not be held.
  • All deposits are non-refundable

 

WEEKEND AND WEEK-LONG RETREATS & TRAININGS

  • Every attendee must have a valid ticket.
  • A non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your space.
  • 6 weeks’ notice is required if you can no longer attend. A partial refund of 50%  will be issued if you cancel prior to 6 weeks of the start date of your retreat. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • If you cancel within 6 weeks there is no refund available
  • Payment of balance must be paid 2 weeks in advance of your experience. If your balance is not paid by this due date, your space will not be held.
  • You can gift your ticket to a third party and inform Sarah’s team of this exchange by emailing [email protected] in advance.
